Stephanie Kraft Sheley has dedicated her career to the rights of pregnant and birthing people. She is an attorney with a legal practice focused on addressing the legal needs of pregnant people and birth workers. She created and directs the Right By You text line, where she helps Missouri teens access birth control, birth care and abortion care. She also serves on the board of the Birth Rights Bar Association, and consults nationally on abortion access and birth rights. Stephanie's personal experience birthing twins enhanced her dedication to helping others have empowered births.

As a birth worker, Stephanie's goal is to help her clients and learners prepare for an empowered birth experience by presenting options, helping build a birth plan, and weaving in know your rights information so that clients are able to exercise their full power throughout their prenatal and birth care.
